However, realising that their own terms and conditions didn’t reflect their innovative character, they reached out to Visual Contracts for help in improving them through intriguing and innovative Legal Design Thinking.

For Airbus Defense and Space and together with our colleague Legal Designer Astrid Kohlmeier, we redesigned and co-created a user friendly NDA for the collaboration on innovative projects with startups.

In 2015 Lieke won the The Hague Innovators prize together with lawyer Janneke Boerman. They developed a new concept of the privacy statement of Facebook as a case study to explore new ways of creating accessible, understanding and engaging legal documents.
